Benromach Distillery & Malt Whisky Centre is located on the outskirts of the Royal Burgh and ancient market town of Forres. This Single Speyside Malt Scotch Whisky is enjoyed in over 30 countries world-wide. Benromach distillery is owned and managed by Gordon & MacPhail, a family run company whose offices and famous retail shop can be found in the heart of the whisky capital of Scotland - Elgin.

Situated on the outskirts of the Royal Burgh and ancient market town of Forres, the traditional BENROMACH distillery lay silent for many years. In fact, its golden spirit had rarely been seen before as a single malt. That is, until now BENROMACH, having lain silent for a number of years, was bought in 1993 and re-opened in 1998 by Gordon & MacPhail, the world's leading malt whisky specialists. Established as grocers and Scotch Whisky Merchants, this family-owned firm now shares with you 3 generations of knowledge and experience of Scotch whisky.

Opening Times:
April to September, Monday to Saturday 9.30am to 5.00pm (last tour 4.15pm)

Open on Sundays in June, July and August 12 noon to 4.00pm (last tour 3.15pm)

October to March, Monday to Friday (excluding Christmas and New Year period) 10.00am to 4.00pm (last tour 3.15pm)

Adults (18 years and over) admission charge £2.50 (redeemable at distillery against purchase of 70cl bottle of malt whisky)

Groups of 12 and over are welcome - please phone in advance.
