Ballindalloch Castle
Ballindalloch lies in the heart of whisky country near to the distilleries of Glenfiddich, Glenfarclas and Glenlivet. Surrounded by majestic hills, and with the tumbling waters of the Rivers Spey and Avon flowing through the grounds, the setting is magnificent.

 

The Orton Estate
Orton Estate is in an idyllic rural setting beside the River Spey, one of Scotland's most famous salmon fishing rivers, right in the heart of Scotch Whisky country, and close to many of Scotland's famous castles and golf courses.

 

Baxters Highland Village
Overlooking some of the finest salmon waters on earth, stands a company whose name is known the world over for its peerless soups and jams, pickles and preserves, chutneys and sauces - Baxters of Speyside.

 

Walkers Shortbread Ltd
In the heart of beautiful Speyside, in the Scottish highlands, nestles the village of Aberlour, where the Walker family has been producing the world's finest shortbread for over a hundred years.

Brodie Castle
Set in parkland, Brodie Castle is old but the family association with the area is even older. The Brodies were first endowed with their lands by Malcolm IV in 1160 and a Thane of Brodie is recorded in the reign of Alexander III.

 

Whiskey Distilleries in the Speyside Area

For those who enjoy a wee dram and have the urge to know more about and ,of course, sample some those famous scottish malts.

Buckie Heritage Centre
The Heritage Centre is run by local people who give up their free time to preserve the character, history and traditions of the fishing and boat building industries in the Buckie District.

 

Benromach Distillery
Benromach Distillery & Malt Whisky Centre is located on the outskirts of the Royal Burgh and ancient market town of Forres. This Single Speyside Malt Scotch Whisky is enjoyed in over 30 countries world-wide.

 

Elgin Biblical Gardens
Nestling in a quiet corner of Cooper Park, close to the centre of Elgin and adjacent to the Cathedral, lies a piece of ground, some three acres in size, upon which has been established a biblical garden.

 

The Glenfiddich Distillery
At The Glenfiddich Distillery there is a single minded dedication to craftsmanship and quality throughout every stage of production, which ensures that only the finest single malt Scotch whisky is produced.

Findhorn Heritage Centre
While in Findhorn you are welcome to visit the Heritage Centre based in two former Salmon Fishery Huts on the Northern boundary of the village beside the Culbin Sands Hotel.

 

The Glen Grant Distillery
From the moment it was first created in 1840, the clean distinctive taste and pale golden colour of Glen Grant have set it apart from other single malt Scotch whiskies. That's why a visit to the Glen Grant Distillery is such a special experience.

 

Johnstons Cashmere Centre
Traditional skills and expertise perfected over the last 200 years combined with the latest technology have left Johnstons unique as the only Scottish mill to transform cashmere from fibre to garment.

 

The Glenlivet Distillery
Whisky and Glenlivet have been entwined for centuries. A visit to the distillery will take you on a fascinating journey to the source of one of the greatest names in Scotch whisky.

The Keith and Dufftown Railway
The Keith and Dufftown Railway is an eleven mile line linking the World's Malt Whisky Capital, Dufftown, to the market town of Keith.

 

The Strathisla Distillery
Founded in 1786, Strathisla is the oldest operating distillery in the Highlands. Today, the distillery still maintains many of the traditions and techniques laid down during the earliest days of whisky production.

 

The Moray Firth Wildlife Centre
The Moray Firth Wildlife Centre, at Spey Bay in Scotland, opened in 1997 and is a family run visitor centre. It is housed in a former salmon fishing station, owned by the Crown Estate, which was built in 1768 and operated up to 1993.
