Welcome to the Scottish Golf Classics 2008

The 2008 events have now teed off and as you read this there are players from nine countries battling for the first Classic honours of the year in Ayrshire. Check the news items on the right for updates.

We're still accepting entries for Fife and Highlands and with the weakness of the pound against the Euro the Classics are even better value if comnig from Europe.

Simply put, the Scottish Golf Classics is a series of 72 hole handicap stableford events played over some of Scotland's finest golf courses and when combined with the best in local hotel accommodation they offer superb value for money and great fun.

Is it For You?

Well from what we're told by the hundreds of golfers who have already played, it's for anyone who has a handicap; enjoys golf travel; playing with different people and a few drams in the clubhouse or hotel.

With welcome receptions, a swirl of the bagpipes, a touch of tartan, a taste of Scotland's cuisine, some live entertainment, the best in hospitality and accommodation and of course some of the best courses in the world, The Scottish Golf Classics will provide just exactly what you might expect from The Home of Golf.

Also watch out for details over the next few weeks about the Ayrshire 2009 event - celebrating Homecoming Scotland year.
