2003 is the second year of the Fife Golf Classic and it promises to build on the launch last year. We have selected the same courses once again providing an intriguing mix of links and parkland, old and new.

The reception will take place on the Sunday at the magnificent new clubhouse at St. Andrews Bay looking across to the auld grey toon itself. The prizegiving dinner will be in St Andrews at the links clubhouse overlooking the famous links.

The entry for 2003 is strictly limited to 160 golfers and it is anticipated that there will be high demand. There are thirty-two non accommodation packages available only for the event and these will be filled on a first come first served basis. Bookings are now being taken with a £50 deposit.

The Fife Golf Classic will undoubtedly be one of the Scottish Golf Classics' majors

Itinerary

Date - 2nd - 5th June 2003

The 72 Hole 2 person Team Event runs alongside the singles with both players' scores counting towards the total.

In addition you will be advised daily on the nearest the pin hole and longest drive (male and female) in addition this year there are prizes available for the highest stableford total on Par Fives and par Threes

*Please note that Full handicap allowance has been increased in line with the other Scottish Golf Classics to a maximum 24 for male and 40 for ladies.

Sunday 1st June

Welcome Reception
4pm - 6pm Welcome Drinks Reception at St. Andrews Bay

This will be an informal introduction to the event and a drinks reception will be provided. The organisers and club representatives will be available to provide any last minute information required. Golf packs will not be issued at the receptions and anyone missing the reception can collect the information 45 minutes prior to their first tee time.

Monday 2nd - Tuesday 3rd June

Golf
From 10am - Play over St. Andrews Bay & Scotscraig

All players should register at the clubhouse 45 minutes prior to their tee time and bring their handicap certificate. Golf packs will be issued on day one. On the second day players are requested to check in thirty minutes before their tee time.

Tuesday 13th May - Evening

8pm onwards - Classic Golf Quiz Evening

Wednesday 4th - Thursday 5th June

Golf
From 10am - Play over Crail & Ladybank

The third and fourth rounds, again check in is half an hour before tee time.

Thursday 5th June

Prizegiving Dinner

8pm - Prizegiving and Scottish Banquet
The annual prizegiving dinner. The dinner is always a great way to let your hair down and cement the friendships made during the week's golf.
