2003 is the second year of the Eats Lothian Golf Classic and it promises to be the best yet. In line with our policy of mixing the old with the new we’re delighted to be focussing on the best golf available in East Lothian combining parkland with links, new with old. The format remains the same with the Sunday evening drinks reception taking place at the wonderful Visitor Centre at the Glenkinchie Distillery. Glenkinchie as one of the Classic Malts and we’re delighted that it is once again our sponsor whisky for the week. In addition to the golf we’ve got even more fun in store and we are absolutely delighted to confirm that included in this year’s entry fee will be entry to the evening meeting at the wonderful, Musselburgh Racecourse on the Monday night. The racecourse encircles the old golf course and provides a fantastic evening’s entertainment.

The entry includes a bag of balls a day at the superb practice facility at Craigielaw and a free nine holes on the Sunday (for the first 60 entries) at the new Donald Steele designed junior course. You’ll also have the chance to sign up to sample another of East Lothian’s world enjoyed product atThe Belhaven Brewery!

The entry for 2003 is strictly limited to 160 golfers and with the quality of courses involved it is anticipated that there will be high demand. There are thirty-two non accommodation packages available only for the event and these will be filled on a first come first served basis. Bookings are now being taken with a £75 deposit.
