Drambuie Dublin: 31st July- 4th August 2005

Portmarnock Hotel & LinksWe're pleased to announce the long awaited Irish addition to the Drambuie Golf Classics series, The Drambuie Dublin Golf Classic.

The Drambuie Dublin Golf Classic is an exciting prospect for the summer of 2005 and pre registrations of interest have been quite extraordinary and with some of the finest courses on the East Coast of Ireland you won't be disappointed. Neither will you be without a challenge, as we feature some of the most beautiful and demanding of courses as well as the most famous.

The event will follow the same format as the four Drambuie Scottish Golf Classics with the 72 holes being played over four excellent links courses between the 1st and 4th of August.

The drinks reception will be hosted at Portmarnock Hotel and Links on the Sunday afternoon with golf following on Monday through to Thursday over Portmarnock Links, The Island, St Anne's and Royal Dublin.

The golf courses are all located in a close proximity to each other and most of the selected accommodation for the event is based around the golf courses to the north of Dublin although for those who wish to stay in the city itself there are a couple of very good options open.

Travel to the Dublin Golf Classic could hardly be easier; all the courses are on the Dublin Airport side of the city with low cost flights from all over Europe and close to Dublin Harbour for sailings from Holyhead. From Scotland the ferry arrives in Belfast and the courses are not much more than a two-hour drive.

Places for the Dublin event are strictly limited to 120 golfers and it is expected that demand will be high - if you wish to reserve your place please click here and send us your booking form with your preferred accommodation.
